CommentsAndrea, I just happened to stumble upon your page during research on a paper I am writing on abortion. I am pro choice, and feel it is a woman's right to decide what she feels is the best for herself and her unborn child. Many people have their own reasons why they choose to have their child or not, and I don't feel it is not anyone else's right to judge that decision. I can tell just by reading your story, that you are a very intelligent, determined and independent woman. I myself am a single mother of two beautiful boys, 7 and 3. They are my world, and even though I am only 25, I go to college as well and also work part-time so I can definitely relate to your situation. En cierta forma me sentí identificada, éstas cosas no solo le suceden a una adolescente, sino a una mujer adulta y que supone los medios de protección son 100% seguros. CommentsAndrea: Escribir es un "don" que no todos poseemos y mas aun si escribes acerca de un tema tan importante y crusial en muchas vidas y futuras vidas que desgraciadamente o por circunstancias que no sabemos dejan de existir simplemente por ignorancia. Me acuerdo mucho de un profesor en la universidad que decia, "todos de alguna u otra forma somos ignorantes" y es verdad, cuantas cosas para aprender de los demas, sobre todo de sus experiencias, como tu bien cuentas en tu historia. Nosotros te conocimos desde que tu Mami estuvo en cinta y luego de una bella bebita y despues cuando nacio tu hermano ustedes vinieron aqui y esto es hace algunos anos atras. Nosotros tambien emigramos aqui a los Estados Unidos, y estamos viviendo ya casi 10 anos aqui. Muy buenos amigos tus papas y tu familia en general. Te queremos felicitar por tu pagina WEB, que tengas muchos exitos y asi como a tu papa tambien fuimos participes de cuando Martin presento su primer libro del cual recordamos bonitos momentos. Do you remember that when you were -I think 3 years old- you were able to explain how to cook the rice? That’s what your mom taught you.
