A little about myself:

My name is Andrea and I have an 9 year old son Bryant.  I am married to the most wonderful man as of 08-08-09.  I graduated from Penn State in May ’09 with a degree in Elementary Education and am now a 1st grade teacher in Virginia.

Why I made this site:

*First of all, let me say that although I made this site with single and young moms in mind, it actually has a lot of information that all parents can benefit from!*

I made this site hoping to reach women who are currently experiencing an unexpected pregnancy, single moms (whether young or older, and single because the father was never around, because of a split, death, or by choice.) and teen moms (whether in a relationship or not).  I have been in all of those situations (became pregnant unexpectedly, and later became a single, teen mother)  There are many sites online where one can find resources and support, but when I became pregnant and began searching, I found it overwhelming and pretty scary.  Hopefully this page will help you in your search for some answers.  The page about pregnancy is for women who believe they may be pregnant, and for those who just found out they are pregnant.  It is made to facilitate your decision with links, pros and cons, and resources. The page for moms is one I think single or young mothers (all parents actually!) will find helpful.
